AFP Tropical Storm Lee makes landfall in Louisiana

Tropical Storm Lee made landfall in the southern US state of Louisiana on Sunday, bringing with it torrential rains threatening floods in parts of the country, US government forecasters said.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has declared a state of emergency, saying flooding was the state's "primary concern."
